Crabgrass

Crabgrass

How it grows;

Unwanted, unwelcomed,

Yet on it goes.

A patch started here,

A snatch over there;

Before you know it

It's everywhere!

The bitterness root--

It's virulent, too;

Turn around and it's made

A crab out of you.

Round it up, spray it with

The blood of the Lamb;

The more you delay,

The hardier the stand.

Withered and dry,

Now see it lie;

Lifeless and drooping and yellow.

You thought it was you,

But that wasn't true;

You're really a jolly good fellow!

I Corinthians 3:9 (NIV)

...you are God's field...

Hebrews 12:15 (NIV)

See to it that no one misses the grace of

God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble

and defile many.

I John 1:7 (NIV)

...the blood of Jesus, his Son,

purifies us from all sin.

II Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a

new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
